From handcrafted wood boats, to grand hotels and fishing clubs, Minnesota lakes have a rich and colorful maritime and resorting tradition reaching back nearly a century and a half. The mission of the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum is to secure and display existing watercraft collections and to document lake life experiences and traditions through exhibits, artifacts and memorabilia.
The addition of the Maritime Gardens in 2013 has widened the Museum’s appeal and serves to enhance our visitor’s experience. We would suggest you plan several hours to see the exhibits and gardens.
